On the first day of every month, Legion Family members are encouraged to wear a "Be the One" item to show their commitment to reducing the stigma around mental health issues among veterans & servicemembers AND to start a conversation about what "Be the One" is & how to save the life of a veteran. Legion posts should also promote "Be the One" on the first day of every month.

The American Legion National Convention will be held in
Louisville KY, Aug 28-Sep 3, 2026.
Any delegates & alternates not nominated at the Final District
meetings will be selected by lottery at the convention in June.
All hotel reservations must be made through the National website. More information will be available in the near
future.
Our hotel will be Louisville Marriott Downtown.
Room rates will be $152.00 per night, ($178.84 with tax).
Self parking is $40.00/day. Valet parking will be $45/day.
