General Rules
Prizes:
1. First Prize: Henry Rifle- Brass side gate 30-30 H024-3030.
2. Second Prize: Glock Pistol 43, Olive Drab.
3. Third Prize: $100 Academy Sports Gift Card.
- Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
- A maximum of 750 tickets will be sold.
- Ticket sales end when sold out or by June 30, 2026, whichever comes first.
Drawing:
- The drawing will be held when all tickets are sold -OR- on July 1, 2026 at American Legion Post 289 in Ayden, NC.
- A winner and an alternate will be drawn for each prize. First, 3 tickets for 1st, 2nd & 3rd, then 3 tickets for 1st, 2nd and 3rd alternates.
- If the winner cannot be contacted within 30 days of the drawing, the prize will be awarded to the alternate. If alternate cannot be contacted, the prize is forfeit.
- Winners do not need to be present to win.
- Winning ticket numbers will be announced at the drawing and posted on Post 289’s official channels.
- 3 chances to win, each winning prize ticket drawn will be returned for drawing of each prize.
Age & Legal Limitations
- Participants must be 21 years of age or older to purchase tickets and win firearm prizes.
- Winners of the Henry rifle and Glock pistol must successfully complete all federal and state background checks.
- Firearms must be picked up at Southern Gun & Pawn in Greenville, NC. Using Voucher from American Legion Post 289.
- If a winner cannot legally take possession of a firearm from Southern Gun & Pawn, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the alternate.
- The gift card winner must be at least 18 years old.
Additional Rules
- All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the drawing or are forfeited.
- Prizes are non-transferable and no cash substitutions will be offered. (Name on Raffle Ticket)
- Ticket purchases are considered donations to American Legion Post 289 and are non-refundable.
- The raffle will be conducted in compliance with North Carolina raffle laws.
- American Legion Post 289’s liability is limited to cost of raffle ticket.
